This calf was a great surprise. Her mom had her within hours of her pen mate having her calf. So they were twins from different mothers. She was born with light colored spots and the spots have multiplied and also came out in various versions of yellow. Her color is certainly not disappointing and she has passed it on to her first calf. A bull out of Dr Seuss we named 'Mr Knox's Goldmine'. Keeping with the Dr Seuss theme but a head nod to his look alike standard longhorn bull.

Well our repeat breeding was successful color wise. This guy is a beautiful yellow and white. We have his full brother with same color so will likely steer him. He does seem to have a roaning also so letting him grow a little to see. His brother may get the knife instead.
