This is the year for you to finally get a pair of absolutely gorgeous yard art to enjoy for years to come. What better way do you have of getting all that grass mowed and the fire hazards removed around your place. Stop the spraying, mowing and weed eating get yourselves a pair of mini longhorn steers. They are economically and environmentally friendly, only fools believe cow gas is a problem. You can even show them at state fair and people always love to take pictures and see mini cows or Longhorns, so why not combine the two and get miniature Texas longhorns.

We have Howi who should mature with amazing horns and comes running for cubes.

We have Duece halter broke, but needs some refreshing. He was never formally shown so you can be the first and he is elligable to show at CA State Fair longhorn show 2026. He is super friendly and recenly while running a chipper he walked into where the chips were flying to stand and nose around. Wood chips flying all around and hitting him. He just stood there sniffing to see if there was anything good to eat. While in pasture if you walk by him he is in no rush to get out the way and will let you scratch him.

We have Fireman. Halter broke and shown by our 9 year old at CA state fair 2026. He is small and we are keeping his full brother this year to see how he grows out, because of how fireman looks. Blocky and tough looking little guy, we made a mistake in castrating him. Mom has fantastic horns as well as paternal grandma so he should grow a really nice set. Good fences are a must for him or if you care to raise one to train to ride you could do eventing as he is a free jumper. This is our main reason for us selling, we farm out our animals to graze fire hazard and he can't be trusted to stay in. Not everyone has fences like we do at home. With is beef packaging he could be a tasty pasture ornament for a time.
